This sculpture, "Millennium Child", was created and placed here to celebrate the millennium in the year 2000. The work is by the artist John Behan. The Irish Times reported the unveiling.

The bronze sculpture depicts three children holding hands with the two outer children holding the one in the middle in the air. It is located outside the Peace Park in Dublin and was unveiled on 8th November 2000.
